Book Blogger Appreciation Week – My Registration Post
Oh man. Deep breath then. Here we go. A LOT of angst has gone into this.
Here are my posts for Best Eclectic Book Blog and Best Written Book Blog.
1) A review of ‘Eating Animals’ by Jonathan Safran Foer
2) A review of ‘The Other Hand’ by Chris Cleave (published as Little Bee in the US)
3) A review of ‘The Years’ by Virginia Woolf
4) A review of ‘The Hand That First Held Mine’ by Maggie O’Farrell
5) Childhood heroines: Jo March, Anne Shirley, Laura Ingalls and Katy Carr
(I’ve also registered for Best New Book Blog and would like to submit the same entries. I’ll leave my eligibility up to you, judges, since I started this blog before September but have only concentrated on books more recently. Please don’t scratch me out of the other categories if you decide I can’t enter the newbie one!)
Now I have to go and do something incredibly modest and humble to counter all this trumpet-blowing.
